I had my rear tire leaking not long ago. Took it off the bike and to the shop that installed it.I've done that once already..........but not much else to do.
Fought to get the damn thing off and spent a fair amount of time cleaning it up -- the bead was really dirty, ended up using power tools.
Been fine ever since (maybe 5 or 6 weeks at this point)
the stuff on my bead was caked on pretty good and would have taken me quite a but of work to remove.
If you pull it again treat the bead like guys around here polish the rest of the bike and make sure everything is smooth and shiny.
