That's impressive, hats off to you ButchI live just East of Dallas; Rockwall TX and I am planning to go. Strokers is the meeting place at 9am for the ride up, so if anyone needs a place to stay the night before.. I have two extra bedrooms, two couches, and a clean (no dog poop) back yard for anyone using a tent (if there is no room in the house). The conditions are: no smoking in the house, no shoes in the house (my wife is from Vietnam), and no politics, just Big Dog talk
If for some reason I can not attend... you are still welcome to crash
P.S. I have quite a few National pistol Championships to my name (NRA, CMP and USMC) as well as being a Small Arms Weapon's instructor, so I will offer my 'experience' to anyone that want's a marksmanship 'tune up'. I retired from the USMC as the Officer in Charge of the USMC pistol team, and you can google me if you want: MSgt Robert Parker USMC Pistol Team

That's very hospitable of you for the nights stay. Riding up from aransas pass Texas and will be pulling to Dallas the night before in order to make the meet the next morning. I would be very appreciative if I could take you up on that room for the night. Unless they end up throwing a party for us at strokers Thursday night as they were looking into then I'll probably stay as close as I can, hotel, to strokers so I don't have to ride buzzed. Either way awesome offer. Thank you.I live just East of Dallas; Rockwall TX and I am planning to go. It was definitely a marathon of practice.... many civilians don't get to practice like the military because our ammo is 'provided'. But it is more than that. While on 'the big team' we get the best of everything: guns, ammo, training, $$ and time. Our. guns are built to our specific peculiarities, ammo is matched to our barrels, and everything is focused on winning. Even our military performance reports... we are expected to win, that is our job, and not to be taken lightly. So, I am very grateful to have had, or created, that opportunity to do what I love and get paid for it. Now if I can just find a way to do the same with my bike........Thanks for you're service Butch. I wish I could shoot like that.

No. It isn't. I will be at the June function and will offer my assistance to anyone who would like a marksmanship 'tune-up'. Just like I offered to host anyone who would need to stay the night in the Dallas area before the ride up on the 22nd leaving Strokers at 9am.This is way off subject, kinda like a hi-jack![]()

Either did post 53,56,58 or 60. Personally I can't believe you would make such a comment towards a decorated Veteran who has offered to open his home to fellow forum members.Post #59 had nothing to due with the above mentioned
