But not really too bad...June is actually the wettest month in Wichita, with 4.25" of rain, and the average daily temps are 64/87. Maybe Eric is remembering the humidity, which often rivals that found in Texas....July and August are beastly here too.

I have a question as to why its necessary to sign a waiver? I don't have a problem with it, but when you go to any Bikeweek event, like Dyatona, there is no such thing

If I go to a Harley event at my local dealer, that's sponsered by dealership, but no waiver I guess I'm not seeing the difference between "private" and "public" when it comes to liability of events.

BDB is NOT an entity. HD is a biz, liabiality ins is mandatory. We have none of that. Just trying to keep everyone safe on the outside chance something happens. I wouldn't be surprised if Flint Oak doesn't make us sign one for them....

No doubt Flint Oak would, especially if your planning on using the shooting range and I would think they also carry Ins.

That same Harley sponsors a ride that you pay or contribute to and you will sign a release. The stores have liability insurance. The event doesnt.

I've been to their events, however I never participated on their rides, so I didn't know.

On a serious note, anyone riding and coming through Des Moines, IA needing a rest, sleep, etc.....or TOOLS in an A/C garage is welcome to crash....I plan on riding down as well......
