Brand New BDM Bagger

Todays update; flashed the ECM successfully but not an iota difference so started diagnosing further. Turns out I have 10PSI fuel pressure that instantly drops to 0 as soon as the pump stops running. So I emailed Curtis and Donna to see if they have some in stock. I do not want to take the tank off and not have new pump, new filter, and new regulator installed while I am there. The bike will be up and running shortly. Yes, I'm an optimist.....

Nevertheless, I have learned a lot about this EFI system, and see almost unlimited potential for more power once the running issue is taken care of.

Okay...drops to zero but can't you keep it running if you give it throttle? You rode it home?

So if you give it throttle do you go back to 10PSI? What's the recommended PSI anyways?

Didn't skogdog buy one too? How's he making out any word
He did. And just like me he is ironing out a few issues. His runs great but other issues. He'll be posting once it is all solved...

So with great help from Groundpounder I was able to get all the parts for a fraction of the S&S cost. New fuel pump, new regulator, and filter is on its way.... Life is good.

It's great we have such a great group of guys willing to help. What would we do without this forum? I'm amazed at all the good posts and articles that have been written all these years. I don't think there is another biker site that comes close to this one. Good job guys! :old2::old2:

I lost the fuel pump in my Bulldog at 12,000 miles it never totally went out but it started making a lot of noise and was getting worse so I had it replaced before I got stranded.

Well, I received emails that they are investigating why my parts are still missing.

However, I'm tearing down my fishing dinghy so that's taking all of my time lately. But every time I walk through the garage it's giving me a smile on my face. The luggage rack is at the chrome shop, the new seat delivered, and she'll be up and running in no time when the parts arrive and the boat is off to the fiberglass shop. I got Groundpounder on speed dial so I have a feeling it might be a fast touring bike in the near future.
