Prolly not, but if you ride hard you might want to, what's the born date on the tire? its 4 numbers in the sidewall, and is it an Avon Venom tire? they were original
WTH,Look for the date code on the tire. 4 digits inside an oval.tell the week and year built.

Yes, would you?Have an Avon 300 on 07 Dog. Probably original, but bike only has 3700 miles on it and sits most of the time. No cracks or bulges. Would you change it?
Then put the new skins on.

If your new tire blew out, maybe he's better with the old oneChange it!
I've had a rear blowout on a new tire. Not a fun ride...plus waiting forever for the tow truck.

I thought the same thing when I read his post
If Franco would have changed his tire a few years back, he prolly would've noticed the axle was lose, but maybe that happened when he was in the mountains with it. Wonder what kinda tire he's going with?
Prolly save yourself some coin if you do it now while the tire is off the bikeI am still on my original Avon Venom dated 05, the bearings did give up before the tire.... I am going to finish it off this summer and get a new one for winter.

Doing numbers.... its going to be expensive....Prolly save yourself some coin if you do it now while the tire is off the bike![]()
