Check your gas tank rubber mounts. They get worn and the tank will vibrate on the backbone.

This is too funny, cause I have a very similar thing going on, but mine is coming from the left side, mine sounds like a cross between a loose washer vibrating and chinging, crossed with a dry rubber against rubber squeak. combine those 2 sounds together, and thats what I have... Im gonna pull the tank when I change the thermister, but it sounds like its lower, you can only hear it when the road is rough or vibration from motor going down the road... havent found it yet, but its frustrating as all hell...

on those v & h big radius pipes I had the weld break loose for the screw that holds the baffle in place ,it would not fall out but would rattle like heck I had to take long nose pliers and hold weld from the inside pipe and snug up the screw ....my not have anything to do with your noise but that's what I had found on mine

I had the same problem not long ago. I have BCT baffles in there... one spot weld broke and drove me nuts for a week trying to find where the rattle was coming from.

I have a thread somewhere in here.
