Ok I finally ordered the prostock 2 into 1 exhaust. Number for the pipe is 00-1306c. Lady I spoke to was very nice and courteous. Said it would take 4-6 weeks before ready to ship. Cant wait to see and feel the difference from my stock exhaust!!

Well Tuesday was 6 weeks so I called and the lady said it should be in the chroming stage. Asked her how long it would be before ready to ship and she had no idea. So much for 4-6 weeks. Oh well still waiting.... It better be worth the wait!

I called them after week 8 and she indicated the pipe was built and at the finishers...today is week 11. I'm nearly impressed with how long this is taking. Monster Coyote, I'm really not one of those "oh, you had only 2 cups of coffee...I had 3 cups" kind of guys but this is almost amusing! I'm hoping it's worth the wait as well. Let you know when it arrives...

Great, Monday will be 8 weeks since I ordered. Called again this past week and they told me the same crap as last week in the chroming stage. Will keep you posted Midwest when I hear from them.

I researched this company and was hesitant about buying their product because of the consistent negative remarks about customer service and seemingly long wait times for product shipment. A Google search will reveal that if you decide to buy from this company you should expect a frustrating experience. What is even more frustrating is that once you receive their pipes, you realize they are not magical. The quality is good, but the performance gain is negligible, if any truly. I personally liked the look of my V&H 2:2 better.

Toadstool, I'd have to agree - the V&H BR's are sexy! The reason I ordered the RB Racing 2:1 is to get additional ground clearance on the exhaust side. The end of my front exhaust pipe (V&H BRs) has been cut and re-chromed, and it still drags. Vance & Hines said I had the first version BRs for the K-9...they said a lot of things, but in the end ended up very 'customer service' oriented. I have an engine build planned and I'm hopeful the RB pipe will compliment the motors projected performance. Monster Coyote, 2 more days = week 12...how awesome is that??? I'm patient, though patiently amused with RB. As toadstool said, I'm just hopeful for a QUALITY product that doesn't drag on those right sweepers.

I really think you are too opinionated on the performance gain of the 2-1 pipe. The pipes do perform as designed as any 2-1 pipe will give gains over the V&H 2:2. If looks are your goal pick what you like. I liked the R&B 2-1 pipe I ran and removed the V&H 2:2 pipes and the gains were notable. I waited on them to build them as most do but it was worth it to me, just my opinion. A great looking pipe built to extract burnt fuel efficiently from your cylinders. I have not read any threads of people complaining about the fit, craftsmanship or performance of these pipes... I can read a bunch about the V&H 2:2 pipes dragging, mounts breaking and loss of performance... I hope those that are waiting totally enjoy there exhaust system when they get it and love the sound of them. Have not seen any for sale on the forum where they have been taken off but have seen plenty of the V&H for sale.... To each there own I guess...

Monster Coyote, I just spoke with her at RB...she said my exhaust is back from the finishers and will be here the beginning of next week!!!

Nomad2day, good to hear your exhaust was worth the wait. I'm hopeful (mostly) for a solid 2:1 that doesn't drag on right turns. I had an email chat with a. hall from this forum, he didn't have any dyno numbers following his Pro Stock install on a base-117...he did mention noticing a difference though and the motor 'spooled up quicker' with RB's product. I'm half inclined to have my K9 re-dyno'd following the install of RB's Pro Stock...all this before my engine build as to give some real numbers on what it actually does. I'm sure someone has already done this, I haven't seen anything yet though.

Glad 2 hear both of ours is on the way. FINALLY! Hopefully shipping to me (Virginia) wont take more than a week and I'm going to have Full House Cycles in Winchester put it on. Talked to the owner of FHC yesterday and he said they would call me when they received.

Ok I was pissed about RB taking 3 weeks longer than they said it would to ship, I had the pipes installed 2day and they sound AWESOME! Anyone looking for better performance and better sound at least compared 2 stock I recommend these. Just dont be in any hurry 2 get them. Again awesome pipes!

To be 100% honest, I did not perform a study to compare power before and after the R&B pipes. What I can tell from my own personal experience is that when you wait 12 weeks for an exhaust pipe, and it finally comes, you have a certain expectation, whether realistic or not. I wanted this damn pipe to blow my socks off. I felt let down…. No noticeable gain for me – period. This is a nice looking pipe, good quality, so don’t get me wrong. Different motors with different setups will act differently. Over on a HD forum a guy posted that he lost 3 ftlbs going from a Thunder Header to the R&B 2:1. Others with the same motor may have gained 3 ftlbs, who knows, some maybe gained 10. It is ultimately the owner’s choice, I don’t care one way or the other. I am simply offering my experience; someone can take it or leave it. As long as we are all safe and have fun!

Id of thought with your build it would. Of been a noticable gain. If i was to spend any more on mine i was thinking their pro pipe.

Do you think that wimmer is clogging you up?

MARV, good to hear from you. The guy who did my build modified the Whimmer, essentially grinding some rough flanges, and flow benched the heads with the intake. I believe it was rated at 274 cubic feet per minute, slightly above the best Roland Sands. He had another bike in his shop with the S&S dual runner he ran on mine which fell a little shorter then the Rolland unit. I think when you push a bike to the max, you probably run into a wall... Thats why I bought the 200 RWHP boosted Ninja to cure my need for speed. My Big Dog gets the looks and rides nice. Although every toy ends up being a money sucking vortex.....
