They fit perfectly in between the fins. After polishing the fin with some polish, all you need to do is go over with andother bob. It gets the motor nice and shiny. I think this is the easiest way to detail the motor.

I got a little Dremel kit from Lowe's, but thinking I can buy the ones I use the most in bulk through work and save a couple $'s.
Unfortunately my scoot is in for its final warranty service's and I don't expect her back for a couple of months, so I haven't been able to try them out...![]()

My bob is much bigger than 1/4 inch. That must be the larger bob you're referring to...And it's made of a rubbery material. Why would I want a felt one?I found a new way to polish your motor and the in between the fins. I baught some 1/4 inch felt bobs from ebay for a dremel. It fit's right between the fin and works really well. I haven't finished, but when I do I'll post some pics. You can use larger bobs to do the open areas and the end of the fins.
