I have right at 80,000 miles on my '97 Proglide!! I wouldn't
change a thing!!!!

How many who voted in this poll would change their vote if they could and why?

Me, I would like to have the new bagger, an RB, the wolf, I have not rode one BD I would not like to have.

:2thumbs: :lol: :flag: I voted yes. I have an `06 K-9 and have had the standard problems- speedometer fogging, careful with water, etc. I still LOVE my K-9 and wish I could afford a new Wolf or another K-9. :flag: :cheers: :roll: :lol:

I guess I would still have to say no.........
BDM is trying to change UP in my opinion but have a way to go before I would purchase another one....
Nice looking bikes and have power due to motor size but a lot to desire for electronics and upgrades due to propitiatory dimensions and fuel delivery for EFI bikes. Let the owner choose his warranty availability to what he wants in a bike, not the supplier.
They could be a world more rider friendly and take there name of brand to the next level.......
Love mine but it is hardily a BDM product anymore... :cheers:

I vote No. Not because I don't love my Dog but because I like to try new and different things. My Mastiff rocks and I'll enjoy it while I've got it.

I've bought 3 so far, so you know my answer..... I think it has the best lines of any other bike on the road, by far.....

I voted yes awhile back. Today, my answer would still be yes. I ordered my 2004 Pitbull new. I bought it for the look. I really dont care for the new pitbulls at all. Just my taste. If I was to buy a new one (new to me), I would more than likely buy a K-9, K-9250, or Chopper. I was really torn when deciding originally. At the time (2004) it was between the Pitbull, & Chopper.

If I am ever in a position to buy another one, like others, it wouldnt be "brand new". I would buy a slightly used one. The savings is just too much to pass on. I hope one day to do just that. If/When that happens, it'll be a Chopper or K-9

I don't own a Big Dog yet ( "yet" being the key word here). But having read the responses, the question is slightly ambiguous. Like, I own one, and now do I want to own two (another Big Dog).

Maybe the question is more in line with, "If you had to do over again knowing what you know now after owning one, would you make the same decision again?" "Or would you pick another brand?"

Some responses were "No!" to the Big Dog brand, I'll built my own.
But some responses were saying they don't want to lose the Big Dog they have now, so no I don't want to buy another (I'm happy with what I've got).

So.....if you had it to do over again, knowing what you know now, would you buy another "Big Dog brand" of motorcycle?

Yes I would buy another Big Dog & No I wouldn't go with another brand of custom, I might go with another Harley, but I believe I would be sorry. I say that only because I have thought of a Dresser for short instances and then come back to my senses. I would also pay close attention to what owners on this thread have shared....be aware of issues with particular years, models, or evidence of poor maintenance of used bikes.

My BD Ridgeback is the best bike I have ever owned. Yes, I would buy another BD in a heart beat. They are the best bikes out there. :flag::flag:
