I am surprised not everyone voted yes. I would buy one in heartbeat, I am just sorry they went out of business. I got my 03 Chopper used and even though I am supposed to ride it only once a month. I have only had normal wear and tear and my bike has been good to me.

As others have mentioned, the meaning of this thread is now a bit different with BDM's doors closed, but in my case, I own a 2010 Bulldog and yes, I would (and will) buy another Dog as soon as someone sells me their dark cherry k9:D:up:

I voted yes before. They might not be selling new Dogs anymore. Big hairy deal! I'll buy used when I use up my current K9. You can still get parts. If I see a good enough deal I'll buy a spare K9. You can't build a chopper for what you can buy a BDM for.

You are in luck!!! Big Dog Tampa, has TWO 2011 K9~250's for sale. One is Candy Red, the other Black Cherry. Check out their web site, they have photos.

K9 with 250mm back tire is ok but the real K9's have 300mm back tires. To say "You are in luck" is nice until the time comes when a guy kicks himself for not getting a 300mm back tire. Plus why buy from a dealer a 250 for more than 20K when you can get a 300 less than 20K?

I wish I had 3 Ridgebacks like DoubleD used to have before I took one off his hands.:whoop:

Really folks after you ride a dog,,,, wipe every noke and cranny for even the tiniest molecules of dust, smears,,,, after you have replaced the ECH and you had to ask someone where it was before you could replace it :D,,, and you did it anyway with the help of a great forum like we have here and it's many supporting members,,,, we even have our very own "Pirate" that isn't advertising running out of gas anymore!!!

The question should be would you even want to buy anything else!!!!! I ran almost 3 tanks of gas through my scooter Saturday and I wasn't the one complaining about my butt hurting!!!!

Ray,I have to agree with you on all of these comments.I only did two tanks of gas on Saturday but, owning three other rides, the dog is the most enjoyable.Wish i would have purchased one long ago.I can see a K9 parked with the others sooner or later. My wife loves to ride the Pitbull and wants me to give it to her,but she has to scootch way up on the seat to ride it because she is so short. So,gotta make a seat to fit her,but she can ride the hell out of it :D .So i say hell yes i would buy another, does it matter whether your wrenching on a Harley or a Dog ??? Not to me.:roll::D

NOPE! 2008 K9 EFI- temprimental bitch.
When the sun is out, I expect to hop on and ride... not hop on and see if she's feeling frisky or telling me she's got a head ache. My Harley's were always raring to get out and go. But this bitch is one moody little bike. I plan on selling it as soon as I get it running again and going back to Harley.

:eek:Wow, I thought EFI was bullet proof. My Daytona 675 runs like a bat out of hell and my electronics are fully programmable! Maybe you should try fixing it? Or, sell it to someone else willing to invest the time making it run like a dream!:D

I would buy another rolling chassis from the 06 to 07 Pitbull series/years since I LOVE that chassis design -but put a few different parts on it & use a different make front end in a 1" shorter downtube length(theres nothing wrong with the pitpull front end-I just wanna use something a bit different) and I'm doing that to the other 2 I have now in fabrication stage.
I'd also move the forward control tabs back 2"(as I did on all of mine).

A leftover....? yes if the price was right-and a *USED* Privately owned one...I'm always on ebay looking for a deal that will coincide with my travels to various runs and bike week events since i always leave room in the trailer for another bike or 2.
YES I'd buy Another Big Dog in good shape for a sensible price but I'm partial to hartails with NO stretch or downtube extension(No Choppers):D

Yes, I would... in a heartbeat! I have had mine 4 years now and not a problem with it. I take long rides with it (3day rides at a time) and am comfortable and always have the best looking bike in the group....with PLENTY of power to go with it. If I won the lottery, I would buy one of each model. Starting with the Wolf and K-9... I have the Mutt now... LOVE THEM!!

I wish I had more money.
You know. After a few years of owning. I am going to change my vote. Would I buy another Dog? Prolly not unless it was a steal. I mean it would have to be a super steal too. I think if I were to do it all over again I would build a bike. Do something like Vince or Tim. I might would get a Big Dog roller and build it to my specs. Does that make sense? I guess my tastes have changed. What I am thankful for is this being my first bike. I learned to "dive in" with this bike. I've learned every thing I know about v-twins on this bike. If it weren't for this bike I wouldn't have met one of my closest friends. So that I am thankful. I've been thinking about getting a roller and using my bike as a donee lately. This may be the last season for the Mastiff. May do a Mastiff K-9 hybrid. I need to learn the ways of the photoshop.

I just bought an 07K9 EHC-less and I love me some FAT tire fury!!! It rides like a caddy compared to the 03 chopper (NOT SAYING THE CHOPPER IS BAD) My wife loves the chopper...the 107 is kick ass!

Buy another Big Dog?

YES!!! DEFINITELY!!! When I win the lottery, I am buying one of each model of Big Dog!
I bought my '08 Mutt brand new and four years later, I still have not had one thing go wrong with this bike. It runs fantastic, looks even better and feels great. I have won 2 trophies and only put it in two contests... Can't argue with that!!! I Love my Big Dog!! :2thumbs: :whoop: :flag:
