Got the Primary outer reinstalled temporarily so I can load it on a trailer for the paint shop, whenever that might be. Can't believe it's taken this long to get my fenders and battery covers from paint. Nothing I can do so I'll keep hoping not much longer. Fired it up, sounds good with the exception of an exhaust leak. Bike is too hot to investigate now, hopefully just loose flange Bolts.

Need a little help. I'm replacing my Cam Cover. I remember reading in another post that it can be a pain to remove. When I removed the cap I saw a threaded bolt hole marked 'For Removal'. Does this indicate that I can use one of the Cam Cover Bolts to 'Press Off' the cover. The threads do match, however, not knowing exactly what it's pressing against I'm reluctant to move forward until I hear from one of you guys.

The front and rear fenders were repaired. The battery Covers were new so they were completely repainted. I thought he matched everything really good. Also, I didn't have an old one for him to use as a guide. When I bought the bike the battery Covers were not painted at all.

Looks like he did an excellent job. The side covers on my Bulldog were just painted gloss black and several other bikes I have noticed had only a single-color side covers. My bulldog is the Furnace Flames paint theme as your K9.

The previous owner of my bike told me one of the side covers snapped off while he was riding. He gave me the other side but I don't believe this was painted by the same guy that painted my bike. Basically I thought it looked like crap so I didn't take it to be used as a guide. It's my guess that many of the Big Dogs suffered a similar fate...one of the panels snapping off. If you don't have a decent Airbrush Artist available you'll have to settle for a solid color. I'm happy with what he accomplished. He's done repairs for me before and when he is finished you can't find the previous damage. The only problem is that it's a long wait every time, however his prices are great $2,020.00 for everything.
