Yeah, I'm going to try that today. Is there anyway to check that out before I pull it off the bike?
I would say this..
check the ehc lights
Turn on the key
check the lights on the ehc
while looking at the ehc and the ignition
hit the run button
you should see the light on the EHC come on, that sends power to the ignition, you should also see some power light on the ignition come on when this happens.
When it cranks you should see the lights blink on the ignition
Also when the power comes on the ignition it should send power to the coil.

I have lights on the EHC when I hit the run button.
I have no light at the thunderheart ignition box, I'll have to check the coil also.

Do you have one of those pin light testers? The ones that you can use to test 12v. Check for voltage at the ignition wires. When you push run do you get power at the coil?
If not I would say one of 2 things. Either your EHC isn't putting out the power or the ignition is shot.

Yes with the spark and I'm currently running through the chart we got from Sul.

A tempermental piece of shit. Seems to be shorted in the thunderheart. I'll tap on the box and the light flickers. There could be where the problem lies.

I am placing in serious consideration the thought of getting rid of this headache.
My first option is trying Lee's part that he sending me. He's helping me out by sending me his old unit and I'm going to try and make that work.
If it don't work I think that I'm might try to go Jake's route in eliminating all of the old wiring that is if all of this bullshit don't get the best of me.
Once again I appreciate all of everyones imput on this thread. You all are a great bunch of people.

I'd like to try just the box itself before following through to doing it all. I might be able to get the all of the wiring connected into a different TH box.
Don't know, Like I said earlier - If I tap on the box the red light flickers so I'm hoping that it is all I will need.
