The left side turn signal was arching out in the housing. This all came about when I had taken my front end off of the bike when I had the turning stop issue.

When I reassembled the front end what I did was cut the signal light wires and added individual quick connections to all of the lighting on the bike. So the one that I was arching was the one that the heat shrink didn't cover fully.

I tightened up all of my connections,checked all of the heat shrink for propper coverage,turned my key to the on position and fired the bitch up. I couldn't believe that it fired up so quickly without any problems. Usually its a cold natured pain in the ass but not last night.

Hard to believ that the bike not starting had all to do with the turn signal arching out. Who would've thought.

I just replaced my EHC in July and looks like the F*&#%NG THING is shot again.

I'm really starting to think that new EHC's are becoming a main income for BD CORP.

Think about it... All of us non-warrantee owners, are getting screwed by the the fact the ELECTRO WIRING GURU'S AT BIG DOG have made such a mess out of the electronics on these beasts that all we do is spend money after money replacing EHC's, trying to find bad grounds, replacing wiring, replacing the F&#*ING solid state boards....

:argue: Ya I know I'm bitch'in but really WTF!!!

I'm starting to think CLASS ACTION HERE....

Good to hear your back on the road Oscar. Your becoming a real wrench now. Take the front end off and next you'll be doing a complete tear down of the bike.:up:

i'll tell ya! :rant:

if you look at the elec comp release diagram on S&S site it shows how the whole start circuit can be wired without the ehc. i just replaced a release and that diagram had me freakin leaning.

I feel an add in the paper is next!!!!!! 236 miles total all year because of one thing or another. I flat going to set the hooker on fire and waklk away.

Now it just cranks and cranks. I have fuel, the EHC lights up but the ThunderHeart box don't. I'm giving the fuck up and getting a moped!

Fuck it! I think I'm done for a while! Fuck this BigDog!!!!!!
