Having multiple rides in the barn is nice when you have the option. For me;

The HD is like that girl next door that just gets along fine and doesn't do anything special other than being a girl. It's fine to be seen with her and occasionally she puts out, but she's not exactly a "three-holer."

The Big Dog is like that hot little number at work with the sexy clothes that you eventually get to date. You find out that she has some problems and isn't always available when you like, but when you go out it's a great time and everybody looks at your date wishing they were you. She knows how to look hot all the time and when she put's out it is amazing.

I thought i was the only one that felt this way same look same gear same shit day in day out with Harley Guys. Choppers leave so much room for individual and personal statements. Only sad ting is here in Mi when we have Bike Night there is a huge following of Sport bikes and Harley s no Choppers working on that hopefully have a Chopper crew on the bike night scene.
Which bike nights you go to?

I attend many.

We went on an organized ride Sunday with about 150 or so black and red harleys:D Had a great time and no one gave a shit what the others were riding, There was one cute little red Honda that was stuck in behind the red ultra. My wife of 43 years in the blue shirt rode her black heritage and my buddy, without his vest rode his red ultra. We got soaked, but still had a great time with barbecue and chicken lunch catered at the end of the ride along with your choice of beverage.
Good Times.....Nice pic :2thumbs:

My bad! I never intended to insult anyone, it was just an observation.

But seriously, isnt the essence of a motorcycle been lost on hand warmers, helmets with radios, cup holders etc.etc.

I wanna feel my ass rumbling and listen only to the tune of that big twin, I dont wanna talk when riding, thats WHY I ride.....

toomanybikes

not enough time 4 riding
Sitting in the parking lot at Patriot HD for the 2012 Memorial Day Open House

And I happened to run into Chacha at a different Harley dealer

So at least 2 Dogs were there

But sometimes I need to ride in comfort

I'm sure this question has been asked, but what percent of BDM owners do you think also have a Harley, and more on point here, which bike would they keep if they could only have one?
I hear ya Skodog, I like all my bikes. The one lesson I have learned is with the dog you just ride in somewhere and shut it off and you don't have any problem finding it when you are ready to leave, the Harley is different. I rode my rare black and chrome Harley to the rapid city dealer during Sturgis and when I was ready to leave it took me dang near a hour to find my rare Harley. Lol and I hadn't been drinking. Each bike has its place I have to have all mine.

yeah but...

well said-just remember Harley and Indian started it all!
yeah but all HD crap is 20 times more expensive than it should be, and all the guys look the same, and most refuse to hold out that respectful acknowledgement on the road....and sorry, even though the new chief is made in Iowa, it's UGLY. I've seen more than a couple, and they look like japanese versions of a street glide. As much as I respect the heritage and Iowan assembly, the thing looks like it belongs on either the autobahn or a japanese lift style parking garage

In my opinion most stuff we buy today is over priced, not just HD either. I just priced some new wheels and tires for my K9 and just the rear wheel was 1800 dollars:eek:. Talk about over priced, and look at the prices of stock S&S motors, in case you haven't they're bumping 7 grand. Yea most s**t today is way over priced. It ain't just Harley Davidson gouging today:rant:

I was first officer of a bike club in Texas with over 300 bikes. Mostly Harleys. If you didn't ride a Harley you where considered just wrong. I owned 2 Harleys and sold them and bought my Big Dog. That was the best thing I have ever did. And yes they where all sterio types. I had lawyers, police, emts, firemen, etc. Had a lot of women who also rode their own bikes. What pissed them off the most is when I got my Big Dog wherever we would go people would come look at it and talk to me. LOL. Also since I was first officer no one could say anything to me. They kidded me and that's all they could do as I kicked their ass on runs.
