So I rode to MB rally last week, damn! Seemed like 500k Harley's they all looked the same to me. What's up with that? You want red or black,?
I had HD overload.
Harley guys all look the same too, dress in black, patches all over and a huge gut I guess I just never got that call.....

Bro, I'm 61 6' 210 and in the best shape of my life, and have no intention of ever looking like I've given up. Just like the song, "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was"
It just seems to me, that HD guys all look the same, "write the check, buy chrome and look at me"
Sorry, I just can't go with that.
Chopper guys are different, you either cut it or you go HD with cup holders and stereos.

Giving up is easy, you don't even have to try......By the way ROUND is a shape. I don't own a HD, but apparently if I purchase one I will fit right in :D

So,,, you're saying nothing has changed over the last 20 years?

Next time look a little bit closer at the bikes, every one of them are a little bit different and more often than not reveal the personality of the owner. Yes they still shop at the dealership and buy chrome and t-shirts, but look again and you will notice that HD are the only brand that are actually expanding their dealership network. I never had a HD and I love to ride my BDM, on the other hand however, I just sold my Goldwing and is looking for a 2003 HD Ultra Classic for my longer trips. Simply because of parts availability and their expanded dealership network. It ain't all bad buddy :2thumbs:

I'm sure this question has been asked, but what percent of BDM owners do you think also have a Harley, and more on point here, which bike would they keep if they could only have one?

I thought i was the only one that felt this way same look same gear same shit day in day out with Harley Guys. Choppers leave so much room for individual and personal statements. Only sad ting is here in Mi when we have Bike Night there is a huge following of Sport bikes and Harley s no Choppers working on that hopefully have a Chopper crew on the bike night scene.

I would hate to have to get rid of my black streetglide, or my red K9

We went on an organized ride Sunday with about 150 or so black and red harleys:D Had a great time and no one gave a shit what the others were riding, There was one cute little red Honda that was stuck in behind the red ultra. My wife of 43 years in the blue shirt rode her black heritage and my buddy, without his vest rode his red ultra. We got soaked, but still had a great time with barbecue and chicken lunch catered at the end of the ride along with your choice of beverage.
