Since I've owned the Mastiff I really never thought the rear suspension traveled enough to give even a remotely good ride.Just to stiff to sum it up.
After reading through all the threads on shocks, air conversions, adjustments and so forth...the best direction to go seems to have the original shocks re valved or rebuilt. Has anybody actually ever sent the works shocks back and had this done? And more importantly do you feel it corrected the hard ride?
I weigh 200 lbs. and the rear wheel has never traveled up or down more than an inch. In fact I often think my old rigid road the same. Also, I took off both shocks to check travel and there must be at least 5 to 8 inches of travel with no bind or sticking. Any thought are appreciated, thanks.
