This is an old text from 2015.. what trouble are you having with yours?? You can re-wire if you want but there are several problems with doing this. 1 is no one makes aftermarket controls for these, the handlebars are larger than stock H-D bars, so H-D controls won’t fit.
Cost is another problem. Every single person that has had it re-wired says it’s a minimum of $1500. Some people pay as much as $3000. ( new bars, controls, yanking out all the old wiring and replacing it with new). Post up what problems your having and most of the time it’s a pretty easy fix. Mine needed a new EHC and the other one needed a backbone harness. Each only took a couple of hours to fix and now I’m rolling great. Go to introductions introduce yourself, tell a little about yourself and the problems your having and the guys will fix you up. Post some pictures of your bike and the problem areas.
