I was cleaning the aquarium out this morning, and the octopus got ahold of me.

Actually I had my stress test done today, to make sure my heart can handle riding this thing when I get her done.

The Doc still has to look at the tests, but so far so good. The people doing the tests said everything looked good.

Looking forward to retirement
Was playing with one while on a dive in Cozumel when a very large eel flashed in, grabbed it and retracted in its hole. Very lucky I did'nt loose body parts!

I know the feeling Shannon, I had them patches on me several times, worst part for me was where they shaved a clean spot for them to stick to, it itched like a MOFO when it grew back in.

A very mean nurse does that to me once a year....

Almost done. All I have left is the throw out bearing. I ordered the wrong one.
And I only have one break light. That's an easy fix though, I know where I went wrong there.
Tomorrow I'll pick up a can of gas and make sure she starts. And roll her out into the sun light, and snap a few pictures.
It's going to be nice this weekend, hope I have a bearing by then.

Looks like I'll be riding a week ahead of schedule. I got the sissy bar on and bags last night. Wired in my phone charger in thee bag. Fired it up and adjusted the carb.
Didn't get her off the table yet, maybe tonight.

If you scroll back up to the last set of pictures, you will notice a yellow wire.
And on the table, you will see a pair of needle nose vice grips.
Got it?

Now let me explain. Has anyone while working on your bike, reached over and pushed the slam button, and have the starter stick? It's a sick feeling, when there is nothing to do to stop it. Except to let the battery run out. This has happened a couple times to me, including this time, but I was prepared.
My ground cable is disconnected. The yellow jumper wire, is there so I could hook up my lights. The vice grips are used to clamp the ground wire to the battery during first startup, pumping the oil out of the engine, and adjustments. If you have any problem, just unclamp the pliers.
All this work I did, I didn't clean the contacts, and when I tightened the cable, it turned a little bit. When I remove the spark plugs to spin the engine over to cycle the old oil out of the engine, and mashed the slam button, well lets just say I used a few PG21 words.
