If you scroll back up to the last set of pictures, you will notice a yellow wire.
And on the table, you will see a pair of needle nose vice grips.
Got it?
Now let me explain. Has anyone while working on your bike, reached over and pushed the slam button, and have the starter stick? It's a sick feeling, when there is nothing to do to stop it. Except to let the battery run out. This has happened a couple times to me, including this time, but I was prepared.
My ground cable is disconnected. The yellow jumper wire, is there so I could hook up my lights. The vice grips are used to clamp the ground wire to the battery during first startup, pumping the oil out of the engine, and adjustments. If you have any problem, just unclamp the pliers.
All this work I did, I didn't clean the contacts, and when I tightened the cable, it turned a little bit. When I remove the spark plugs to spin the engine over to cycle the old oil out of the engine, and mashed the slam button, well lets just say I used a few PG21 words.
