Yes, I think bolt on the Mastiff is 1/2"x20x1 3/4" allen head, chrome if you can find one. On other models, the bolt threads into the mount, and no nut is used. The Mastiff has the nut on the end of the bolt. Are there threads in the engine mount? If there is, I'm not sure why they used the nut. Maybe for decorative purposes. After further research I believe that is the upper engine mount I posted in post 5.
Am I missing a bolt?
Yes add blue loctite the threads. May have a torque spec for that also. I am at work but will look on my sheet when I get home to be sure. Will let you know later unless someone else chimes in. I think the ‘07 mastiff has a spacer that goes in there too.Thanks. So just get one of the bolts mentioned and put it through the hole and tighten the nut down right? I dont think there is threads in the mount so i guess just that nut holds it
Ok, that makes sense then. I think Mick is right. There is some kind of a spacer on the Mastiff, IIRC.Thanks. So just get one of the bolts mentioned and put it through the hole and tighten the nut down right? I dont think there is threads in the mount so i guess just that nut holds it
Bigdogpartskingpin.com has the spacer. You could probably get something from the hardware store that would work, if you know how thick it needs to be.Thanks guys for all the help.
I wonder if washers could be used instead of a spacer?

Hmm, is the bolt 1 3/4"?I got my bolt kit in from bigdogpartskingpin and none of it seems to fit.
The bolt would have to be about 2 inches longer to go through the coil cover, through the engine mount and then put the spike in the other side.
I have no idea what is going on.
