I've never built a car with the intention of selling, I build them the way I want and if someone else doesn't like it, tough shit. Now if you were building it to sell, then yes I agree with Bill, but if its for yourself, you build it your way!!! Now with all that in mind, I have ended up selling all my builds and never lost my shirt on any, usually break even. I end up getting bored when a project is done and after enjoying it for a while I need something else to build so I don't go insane. If I could afford it, I'd keep them all but can only afford one toy at a time.

Danny, I think you need to start a new thread and show us all those rides you have, love every one of those cars you have, especially the 66 Goat!!!

Looking forward to retirement
Well suppose to have bad thunder storms here today, same system that threw those tornados off in Dallas last night. Think I may get up and go steam clean the jeep. Really water is water! I'll put on my slicker suit and steam clean the jeep and before CeCe can go attack the aftermath of this in coming storm system get the jeep up on some jack stands and let it drip dry in barn 1! Should take me 4-5 months on the restoration!

Sounds like you've been busy! Nice!!! I have been lazy then all the snow messed me up, working alot. Not alot done so far

Still have to get to my fork seals
Started working on the garage once my wife finished her woodworking project.
Just started working on smoothing out an extra air cleaner to get it ready for paint.
Did pick up a new leather jacket and found a 12" BDM sissy bar and pad off ebay but think I like my home made pointy bar better, think I'll duplicate it out of stainless rod so I can polish it.
Good idea putting updates!
Here's what I'm working on now.

Iam still porting and polishing the heads for my 427......uggghhhhhhh
I remember when I built a 440 for my 68 Satellite, I was out there every night for weeks porting and polishing the heads. It was worth every second cause the car was fast as hell. When I brought the heads in to have a valve job after porting, the guy thought it was a professional job, said it was the best home porting he had ever seen. Makes you feel like all that grinding was well worth it!

Yea been a little busy not too bad though. The big project is the floors and doors in the house been wanting to do it since I bought the damn thing so pulled the trigger last weekend. Just hoping I can get everything done by spring. Once this list is done my next project will be to find a damn girlfriend. hahah

Just came back from Walmart bought the oil to do the fluid change on the Jeep CJ today. I drank a little more last night than I wanted to so this seems to be about all I'll get to today haha.

Went out to do the oil change on the Jeep then I went ahead and replaced the oil pressure sender and temp sensor I had new ones I ordrered a long time ago.

Well I decided to open the master cylinder and the damn cylinder for the front brakes was bone dry! I topped off the fluid and cracked open a bleeder and hooked up this pnumetic bleeder tool from Harbor Freight for $30 this thing rocks for one person brake bleeding! I was impressed!

The one I have is a 1 gallon pump sprayer type, you replace the master cylinder cover put 1-2 quarts of fluid in it, and pump it until you have 8-10psi and go around and open 1 bleed at a time and let it run till its clear, then move on to next one.

Got the air cleaner all smoothed and ready for some epoxy primer. Then I'll let it dry and block it out, then it will be ready for paint as long as ever thing looks good.

That's a nice system, I heard it's better to push the fluid rather than pull it.
