Two of my customers just thought they had to have this battery, and they were installed in March. Both shorted out on the inside, and both took the EHC with it. One was on an 08 mastiff and the other was on an 04 pitbull that had already had an upgraded EHC. I'm not sure what it is.

I bought one about six months ago.. 500 cca and it was only $100 shipped. So I bought it and worked good....for about a month. Then would hold a charge fine but load tested it and it failed. Returned it and got a braille.
Same happened to me! I bought a Braille but didn't return that battery. Who did you talk to to return it? I bought mine on Amazon so past their return policy have to go with manufacturer now.

Mine is sitting in the corner of the garage.

That's where they got them too. I'm sure we can bitch all we want, but I doubt we will get anything out of them.

My Dog had the same battery when I bought it, back in March.... I fried my EHC and took the battery out as well..(or vice versa)
When I installed the RIP Kit, I went back with the same battery...a week later, it went bad with a bad cell..... Warranty covered a replacement... now 4 months later... I think I'm having battery issues again...
This will for sure be my last one..

I just started another thread (No power to anything) that is the same freakin battery that just shorted out on me. Damn I hope it didn't fry everything, I really don't need that. I guess I'll know when the Yuasa gets here.

Here is the thread I had going when I was trying to figure out what happened.

Hope you have better luck. If you did loose your EHC, get a hold of KMW and get their RIP unit. Easy install, and everything works as it should.

All this time & money over a piece of junk battery. I don't have the money to waste on this, but thats a choice. I really don't have the time, time is worth more than gold right now. Thanks for the advice and info.

I did lose the EHC. Got the new battery, charged it, put it in the bike and hooked up the 3 wires on the positive post and touched the ground wire to the negative post on the battery .... big arc ... and the starter kicked in. Keyed switch was off.

Was you using that power source battery? Gabe got his money back from Amazon for the battery, I haven't heard if they are going to do anything about his EHC. I need to get with Brian, and get him to do the same. We get enough people with the same problem, caused by this battery, we might get something back.

I will contact Amazon, but the battery is gone. I turned it in for recycle when I seen it shorted out. I will do whatever I can to help with anything you guys may get together. Better be soon though .... my days look to be few as this cancer has spread to both lungs & my liver. Im just trying to get it fixed so my wife can sell it if & when I die. So yeah, if you find a way to get something back, Im on board.
