The lights at the bottom of the speedo on an 04 ridgeback like the high beam & neutral light. Are they bulbs or is it a circuit board, can this be repaired or am i looking at whole replacement

RIDE IT HARD!!!
They are LED bulbs on a circuit board. Would be touchy to replace the bulb if that's what the problem is. But should be able to do it.

Is the high beam in the headlight itself working? Or is it just the highbeam indicator that is not working?

I have the same exact issue on my 04 Ridgeback. The previous owner said that it was because a Wire Plus EHC was installed which I later found out was wrong. Let me know what you find because I would eventually like to fix mine as well.

Sorry to hijack in here.. I have another question....

Why the speedo stops working every now & then? Once I stop the bike, and start it again it works fine again!!! just curiosity. It doesnt really bother me as I ride by ear.

Thanks guys

I would check the connectors/connections for loose or corroded contacts. Same issue on my 05 Pit turned out to be just that. A little cleanup and reseating and the problem hasn't returned...yet. :)

what Thors said, it was common to get corrosion bluid up and also for the wires to break ( just re-solder )

You talking about tach not working all the time? Let the speedo sweep completely before hitting run, gets me a couple times so I just turn off and start again.

Indicator lights

I have a 2000 Big Dog Wolf. I have the same issue. My indicator lights went out one at a time. I looked and the circuit board is installed surrounded by a rubber compound. I called around and was told that I would have to replace the tank cover that housed the indicator lights below the odometer. They found one at a cost of 135 plus shipping. I ordered it today. I will update here when it arrives and after I install it.
