LOL it is a comparison to somebody else's post. You obviously have no idea what u are talkin about, dry weight of a 636 is just under 400, dry weight of my dog is over 900. race was roll on 30 to 100 i beat him there, ninja does catch up to me after i let off the gas. and he might be able to beat me higher speeds, but i dont care my k9 is not a high speed bike, hence cruiser name and Maybach like comfort in comparison to a 636 lol. as far a the hp figure, that was just a dyno read. argue with the machine not me. Is this a sport bike forum I wondered on to lol?
Well mr 15 posts! Heres the specs of the k9 SPECIFICATIONS
14 2007 GENERAL INFORMATION
Dry Weight Front ...........267 lbs
Dry Weight Rear............443 lbs
Dry Weight Total............710 lbs
GVWR ............................1130 lbs
GAWR Front ...................390 lbs
GAWR Rear ....................740 lbs

As you can see I do know what the F*&k Im talking about. I guessed the K9 at 700 lbs. You said 900. You also said there was a 600 lb difference between bike. I know in Ohio when we subtract 700 from 400 we get 300 lbs. Not sure if your good at math.:loony: Then you post you were adding your rider weight to your bike. But, not his rider weight. I dont get it. :loony:It is not a sportbike forum but it is a motorcycle forum. Actually, a true rider loves all motorcycles for there differences and purposes. If you actually read what I wrote, you are comparing a bone stock, smaller cc motorcycle to a high priced "not stock" modified Big twin engine. The characteristics on each motorcycle are different. One is torque the other is wider rpm range and top speed. Michigan isnt that far away. Come down this way. I'll borrow a buddys 636 and we will see who is faster and a better motorycle rider. I'm sure I forgot more about bikes and riding than you. Oh, and btw. I back up my words with proof. Mr. 15 posts. I would put money I can handle, control and out ride you any day of the week on a motorcycle. Basically, you being a new member on here should be shooting your mouth off and insulting other forum members that you dont know with your lack of knowledge. Maybe, try to blend in a bit. Make friends. I wouldnt be so proud you won your lil race. Let me run you with a liter bike. Oh I'm sure you dont know what that is.

LOL Liter bike? is that like the GSXR 1000 connected to a big blue NOS bottle sitting in my garage? I'm not familiar w/ your Fancy pants lingo that you learned from all the posts you have made. I am just Mr. 15 posts. Thanks for clearing that up for me. And I am thoroughly enjoying this forum. not insulting every1, pretty much just you. Explain why I would drive to you to race a 636 when I just did and beat one. AGAIN, Race was 30-100, I made it there first hence the win. he caught up to me cuz the race was over, gas was released, and we wanted to race again. the race was for fun dude! we werent on a track and it wasnt a professional vid, we drove next to each other behind each other that does not have anything to do with the race or the results. But if you don't think my bud is a good rider like you stated earlier. he said he would gladly race u for $$, he has a g33 turbo on a gsxr 1300 w/ 412hp. I would get into complicated stuff but I am sure u know all that mr 315 posts lol. Thx, stand u prick.

As far the GSXR goes, see you posted up a picture, where is the bike, all I see is some very nice looking honey and I would let hear beat me all day long. Wait I do see a bike, nice sized jugs (I mean big bottle of NOS there). BTW she if very nice!!! F the bikes-send more of her!!!

Lol, your a trip. I'm impressed that you showed your lack of class by name calling. Personally, I have run across people like you many times. All talk on the internet but in person is such a different story. I'll guarantee you wont talk that way in person to me. Lets start this out correctly. You post a video, you talk how impressive you are at beating a smaller engine bike. Im not the only one that stated objective statments. In the beginning. I mearly clarified you were not accurate in your weight stats or that a comparison to a higher end vtwin to a stock sportbike is not a fair comparison and I was nice about it. You compare your bike and your weight to a stock bike without a rider. So I set the record straight. That is my opinion and you bash me for it. You come across cocky and a know it all. Its funny, Ive been on here for months and your the first person with attitude and all talk. Why would I race your buddy on a gixxer 1000. This was between you and me. After your arrogance, Yes, I called you out and said I'm a better rider than you and I'd prove it. The point of racing is skill, not who (or pays someone else) bolts on the most expensive parts to win. The best rider and a good race is determined by equality. I'm not going to stoop to your level with name calling but I do suggest you dont do that again.

"Can't we all just get along" :)
You two need to relax and let it go. I agree that lax should not have been insulting member(s) on the site, but know it for what it is and walk away. No need to start threatening each other, guys. This is a great forum and while this thread has been entertaining, that's as far as it needs to go. I hope both of you (Lax and SUP) have a great weekend as well as the rest of you doggers...woof.

Not to insult anyone, but only to offer some advice. That nos bottle strapped to the exhaust is THE most ghetto set-up I've ever seen ! lol And im from arkansas ! Guess it makes a good bottle warmer though !

I agree. Personally, Nos is a waste of money. There is absolutely no reason to have that on the street. Same for a turbo. There arent many places that you can use that without risking your life. Ive said it before and I will say it again. Competition is best when its a level playing field. If you have identical equipment. The competition is between the people, not the machines.

Ignorance racing incorporated , front and center! ! :spank:

You do not strap your nos on tha damn exhaust pipe genius! !

The k9 got tha jump start ... and the k9 lost period ,via ⅛ or god forbid a ¼. And the 100 feet you claimed victory to

Forget it, its not worth going any further :job:

I plan on it. Thank you. As far as threatening. I never threatened anyone. I only made a comment because alot of people act totally different behind a keyboard or in a vehicle. When I call them out on it and in person they change their whole tune. I was raised to respect people but also to expect respect in return. I have been more than helpful towards people on this forum and people have also been helpful and kind. But, I will not stand for disrespect, ignorance and will today and always standup up for myself. Last I checked this was a forum where we can express our questions, opinions, and corrections to help members out. I am not the first to question, respond or disagree with this post or thread. I will take it for what it is. I cant have an intellegent conversation with some people. Lesson learned.

I just want to add a couple things. Looking at the vid in the first race it looks like you stayed on the throttle even after the Ninja passed you. The second race it looks like you backed off on the throttle as he was blowing by you. The third race it looks like you were never in it to begin with. Personally I think it is even silly to think the K-9 could even attempt to race that Ninja. It is my understanding that this 30-100 mph race was tailor fit to try and give the K-9 the advantage but in the end you fell short. Truth be told though the K-9 sounds sweet and looks beautiful. The Ninja in my opinion is what it was designed for. Speed that was compacted into a plastic and tin can. My vote is for the K-9 over all.

It is all good, and got to admit this has been entertaining for sure.

But in fairness, I have to give LAX credit, for I have been introduced to a new way to mount a scuba tank size NOS bottle to a GSXR, but hey, lets get back to important things.

Did you all not see the lady on the bike, no my eyes are getting bad that I did not see the whoming in the video, but not so bad that I missed the lady on the GSXR.

LAX please post more of her, please things are rough over here in the sandbox and even the donkeys are starting to look the same. More of the ladies to keep my and many others sanity in check.

Thanks

here is my 2 cents....You Dont need to race a crotch rocket at all. dont even think about it. its just a way of making yourself look stupid. Plain and simple. However i got some popcorns after i started reading the thread here cuz its amusing. LOL.
