VIBRATION AND CHATTER PROBLEM

After all that has been done, sounds like a balance probem. If the vibration is greater at higher speeds and did not start till rear tire replacement.

:hi: hey skully, not meaning to sound like i'm making lite of the situation, but sometimes you end up with a smart-assed tech that thinks it would be funny to put something in the tire and see how long it takes someone to figure out what the problem is. might not be a bad idea to at least have the tire pulled and checked. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:2thumbs:
Man if that's the case, there should be one severely damaged tech in the world. Maybe the tech didn't clean the rim before attaching the balance weight and it came off...or maybe he just got it wrong. have it re checked.

well they replaced the rear pully and belt and replaced the seals in the trans. over this past weekend i took it out for the first long run. to me the vibration is still there. it just does not fell as smooth as it did before the tire got replaced. i was hoping that it would be elimated with the replacement of the pully and belt, but to me it feels the same. no more grease like goop at the front drive pully, but back to square one with the vibrations. 2.14.08
That sucks dude! Try some Dyna Beads in the tire???

did the beads, no change, but last night we think the trans went. crusing at 60 it jumped out of gear and the clutch handle went limp. will not go into any gear.
