I purchased a used Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 1 exhaust pipe and installed it on my 2006 K9. Well, it sounded like crap, so I took it back off. I decided to pull the baffle out and investigate why it sounded so aweful. I removed the baffle and proceeded to take the baffle apart. Currnetly the baffle is in three pieces... the outer cylinder, the front cone and the rear baffle. Further investigation revealed that the rear baffle had been modified by drlling five 1/2 inch holes in the front end plate of the rear baffle piece. Now I have the understanding that 2 into 1 produce more low and mid rpm hp and torque. I'd like to keep this trait in the pipe, because that is part of the reason that I purchased the pipe in the first place. So, with all this in mind, I'd like to know if anyone has modified their Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 1 exhaust pipe. If you have modified your pipe, how did you modify it? If you installed a different baffle and what type? Last but not least, how is the performance and how does it sound? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
