I have a.2003 bigdog chopper still had stock turn signals on it well the vibration has finally taken its toll and the two on the right side and they broke so I found some I like with the Arlen ness PN-12772 when I ordered them from cruiser costuming they could not ensure fitment but was pretty sure they would now the problem is that the stud I have on my bike is 5/16 coarse thread and the ones on the new lights are 5/16 fine thread so I called them and they said the stud don't come out of the lights so I think I can put a for clamp on to make the front two work but my question is
Are these 41mm forks on these I think they are but not sure and if so does anyone have a suggestion where to get the clamps

And another question is any creative ideas for making these work on the back without having to drill my struts I thought about maybe swingarm mount but don't know how it would last there I have gotten ahold of bdmpp on the forks but they don't seen to know much or give a shit about an old dog any suggestions would be awesome
Thanks Mike

sheeesh Mike, did y'all draw breath anywhere there??

calipers will give you the exact dimension of your forks I suspect.

being creative, could you make up a male/female adapter for them? Not sure if tapping 5/16 coarse to 5/6 fine would work but what if you
- took a 5/16 coarse bolt that has an unthreaded neck section below the head,
- cut the head off,
- thread the neck wiht a die to 5/16 fine,
- dimension the length of each end appropriately,
- screw the coarse thread end in to the existing threaded receiver,
- wind a 5/16 fine thread long nut or tapped tube onto the protruding end you threaded with enough unused length in it to wind the turn signal bolt into.
- finish it all off cosmetically how you want

Yes? Maybe?
