You mean they look like this?

Just push on the clear plastic part - it slides inside the "chrome ring," and suddenly the whole tab is sticking out, just as long as the stock BDM ones.

It looks like the right side part (stock lens?) has longer tangs that extend farther past the lip to me. Just what Bro2 says, that the HD visors can't stay clipped on the the BDM signal housing. Am I wrong?

When you get them out of the package and push the lens out of the chrome ring a bit... then install by pushing on the lens. THEY DO FIT!

Okay! I bought some from American HD in A2 after work and mine are installed. They look GOOOOD! Easy-Gentle pry off of the original clear lens and preset the new ones so the new lens is just (proud) past the chrome bezel. Eased them on the BDM housings, push in the lens click-snap, then seat the chrome bezel to the housing, slight twist to position the visor top and whalla - time for a beer. $32.00/set easy affordable mod.
