Looking for ideas on trailering my 2009 coyote. I know enclosed is best but it's not really in my budget right now. Is there a way to protect the bike on an open utility trailer from road debris? Anyone use a trailerable cover? thanks

I did it open once and used shrink wrap, though it protected the bike, it was mess to get off and I had to detail the sticky shit off the bike anyway. This is the way to go and don't forget to strap the rear also, so the rear don't bounce into the wall

Looking forward to retirement
image.jpg Look closely, you can see all I do to the rear wheels are loop them and pull backwards at an angle. On front I'm pulling on triple tree. This was 4 bikes in my big trailer. Nothing moved!

Word of caution Jonathan, on our Dogs, if you wrap thru the aluminum wheel the straps will mark the polished aluminum. Just FYI

I would be in divorce if I tried to ride the Dog to Daytona:chopper:, 980 miles one way, with my wife on the back,:oldfight: and before you say it, if I left her at home I would be divorced before I got back. Remember I just retired at 59 and she still works covering my medical, my momma didn't raise no fool:oldlaugh:

That's what you should do Ker! Sue can follow you for a while in the truck with the trailer, then load it up and drive! Best of both worlds!:old2: Oh, and you and Jonathan can stop showing off your bad ass trailers! Lol! Wankers!:oldhardlaugh:
