Going 150+mph has a way of keeping you from yawning. Blinking can still be an issue.
Going 150 + mph also has a way of shortening your life expectancy! Can't think of any good reason ta go that fast on public roadways. Race track, ya maybe-- public road, no way!! :oldnono::oldnono::2cents:

Now mind you this is my first street bike that I've keep for over a month. I wanted to check out 6th gear, so I did. Stock 04 107 at 110mph I back it off. Way too much working against me.The wind trying to take my head off and push me off the bike. The wind coming around my glasses making me cry, can't see. My hand going numb for the death grip that I had on the bars. My buddies say bush light was driving. I'm comfortable around town but not much more over 70.:)

Didn't mean ta be a downer, but the loss of the bro-in-law, and working in EMS picking up the pieces of riders that went to ground has made me realize just how precious life is. Trust me, It's no fun putting body parts in a red plastic bag, especially when it wasn't the riders fault. I know it sounds like a broken record, but I'll say it again, Please STAY SAFE out there!!

Lot's of people saying 70... wow... I run 80 - 90 on way to work everyday. Had the Mastiff doing about 130 over the Howard Franklin (4 lane flat bridge across the bay)... no one in the way, all clear... open it up and get to work. But in general I just cruise at whatever is comfortable at the time... prefer scenic backroads with the wife, cruising and looking at the countryside.

I've had my Mastiff up to 125 mph and it was still pulling hard, don't know what rpm's I was at cause I didn't wanna look down at the tach, I would think that I could hit 140 mph fairly easy, the 585 cam made a huge difference on the top speed.

one time I tested it on german Autobahn, the high speed was 185 km/h or 115 mls/h and this had roundabout 4000 1/min , I think there was much more but not for me, it was enough for the K9 and me

It made a huge difference with the cam, sucker only stops pulling when the rev limiter kicks in! :whoop::chopper:
Oh, and at approx. 125 mph had no signs of getting outta control, tracked strait as an arrow, I would have no problem taking it all out on a drag strip or something like that.

He's gonna need sway bars at that kind a speed :D
:nonod::nonod: Nope kicked the Hemi down coming back from Myrtle beach bike week when I passed a 5th wheel with 2 bikes in the trailer and it was not swaying at all and I was surprised when I looked down and was doing 100, yep stupid. I was looking at trailer tires this week and "C" rated tires are only good to 65 mph and "D" rated are 81mph.
I have "C" rated on my trailer and I have been up and down to Daytona many times running 75-80 mph, makes me wonder now, I think I was better off not knowing:oldbang:
