I would much rather have it patched, I wouldn't put that stuff in a car tire:down: .

I would recommend that you take the tire in and get it replaced. Being on two wheels and not 4, taken all precautions to prevent a failure at speed can not be over emphasized. I would plug it if you have to, but only long enough to get it changed out properly.
Would stay away from the Slime by all means for not only are you risking it not working or failing at the most inappropraite time, a question to me would be what will that stuff do the nice billet rims both in the short term or worse show unknown effects later down the line??
Beside, if you were going to get a new tire, now would be the best time!!

I would not use that stuff in my bicycle tires!!
It makes a mess inside especially the wheel.
On an nice hot day the stuff all runs down to the bottom and the tire will be so far out of balance it won't be funny.

Many years ago in my former mechanic life I had to take a tire off a rim that someone put that crap in what a friggin mess. I would never use that stuff. I wouldn't put that stuff on my worst enemies tires!!
If you wanted something fast and easy would have been better just doing a old school plug. But alot of this debate has to do with where the hole is and how comfortable you are with a "repaired tire" on your bike.
The problem is that the sealant cakes the inside of that tire and rim. It hardends and is a BITCH to get off. Has to sometimes be chisseled off the rim. It will seal the tire but ruin it in the same token. The wheel/tire won't balance and when you go to change the tire you will have to take a wire wheel to the inside of the rim.

Your mechanic is going to be pissed when he changes your tire!
I've worked at shops where they will pad your bill (we used to call it an "a**hole service charge) typically a 10% increase in the labor total...FYI

I got a nail right in the middle of my 300m and nobody would touch it. Had only 4k on it ... I tried plugging it but it wouldn't hold ... so I had to cough up the $340 to replace it and nobody here in Cottonwood AZ has equip to balance it ... good thing I learned about the Dyno bead this week ... order some and can't wait to try them out ... I wouldn't trust a patch or plug on a bike ... $340 is cheap for the piece of mind ... think about it ....
