You can download an Owners Manual free from the BDM website.

Rear = 40
Front = 42

Don't all tires have it stamped on there somewhere.:D
you are correct, they do. however, the pressure listed on the sidewall is the MAXIMUM pressure for that tire. recommended tire pressure from the manual is based on the weight of the motorcycle and rider(s). a single tire size will fit a myriad of bikes with different weights, that's why the pressure listed is the maximum allowable for safe operation.

Avon said is could go down to 26 lbs without a pssenger for my weight of 180 lbs. without messing up tire wear.

I run and have always run about 30 lbs in my Ridgeback. Both the 2004 and 2005.

I don't have the tire pressure for the 2004, but here is the tire size and recomended tire pressure for the 03 Chopper:
FRONT TIRE: MH90 x 21 ~ 33 psi
REAR TIRE: 250/40 x 18 ~ 42 psi
So, if your tires are the same size, I would run the factory recomended psi. This info is from my free downloaded 03 owner's manual.

You can download an Owners Manual free from the BDM website.

BDM changed their website recently and now only sell the manuals.

However, the owner's manuals are available in PDF on the web if you do some searching.

this is happening more and more with some new members around.

Hey Moderators -- can't some of these threads be locked -- there will not be any useful new content added to many.

Maybe a How-to or tech tip section for static info like this, battery info etc.

For Batteries maybe a fixed time POLL with the popular battery models to show how many use which (braille, deka./interstate, walmart,duracell etc)

The repetition is starting to get really old -- wait -- maybe that's me that's getting old -- maybe both.

One of the moderators is more guilty of this than the new guys. I kinda like it though, it's good to bring up some of the old stuff for the new guys anyway.
