you are correct, they do. however, the pressure listed on the sidewall is the MAXIMUM pressure for that tire. recommended tire pressure from the manual is based on the weight of the motorcycle and rider(s). a single tire size will fit a myriad of bikes with different weights, that's why the pressure listed is the maximum allowable for safe operation.Don't all tires have it stamped on there somewhere.![]()
WHAT I MEANT WAS WHATS THE TIRE PRESSURE IS MORE COMFORTABLE TO RIDE ON..............Don't all tires have it stamped on there somewhere.![]()

One of the moderators is more guilty of this than the new guys. I kinda like it though, it's good to bring up some of the old stuff for the new guys anyway.this is happening more and more with some new members around.
Hey Moderators -- can't some of these threads be locked -- there will not be any useful new content added to many.
Maybe a How-to or tech tip section for static info like this, battery info etc.
For Batteries maybe a fixed time POLL with the popular battery models to show how many use which (braille, deka./interstate, walmart, duracell etc)
The repetition is starting to get really old -- wait -- maybe that's me that's getting old -- maybe both.
Yea It is fun some time looking at the dates. If it was good info. back then chances are it still good info. One of the moderators is more guilty of this than the new guys. I kinda like it though, it's good to bring up some of the old stuff for the new guys anyway.
