Does anybody know what the Thunderheart Coil resistance on a 06 K9 is as I want to change out to dual Dyna coils.

The coil in your bike should be a Crane as mine is. I believe they are 3 ohms.

Cool. Just makin sure. Did you check out Vulcan? They make a nice set of dyna coils made just for them. instead of angled wire hook ups, they are straight out. Allowing you to re-use your current wires.

Well the vulcan motor mount is a 3 piece kit. Where as I used the yankee motor mount with the vulcan coil mount and coils. The yankee motor mount is a nice looking mount and is only 2 pieces. HOWEVER, it took some CNC modification to make it all work right. Hence why I say "Custom don't bolt on"

Well I had to have a 45* canter put on the top leading edge of the yankee mount. It had a vertical edge sticking up over the face of the vulcan coil mount that didn't look good. I also had to have the bottom cut out to accomodate the key, and a new rear piece where it mounts to the frame. More detail and pics can be found in my Phoenix thread under customizing.

I looked at that what I didnt understand was the motor mount one half inch away from the frame which means it needs a spacer or use the original camel toe(not an option) or too tall and had to be cut down.

I had a whole new piece cnc'ed versus using the spacer idea.
