Thunder Heart Q?

Ok, so my chick calls up to order the Thunder-heart ignition for me for x-mas. The chick on the other end of the phone says I don't need the ignition module as a kit (PN# ASM5012) ???? So I have no idea that she was doing this, well she didn't want to get the wrong deal, so she had to ask me, hmmmm, I have no freakin clue......

Stock 07 K9 117", 2 into 1 V&H, stock air cleaner with K&N filter.

I will be installing a .600 S&S cam and a XXX carb, but this will be later.

Question is do I need the PN# ASM5012 or PN# ASM5075?

Thunder Heart Electronic Products

Oh and any one know if Nelson from WB sells this? Or some one on the forum...

Thanks for the help in advance.

You need the 5012 for sure, the 5075 is Harley direct plug in to HD harness, will not work on our bikes.

Thunder-Heart only sells our module in the ASM-5012 kit and no other way, I tried!

My friend jerr-06K9 and I just put one on his bike. His kit came with the ignition module, coil, plug wires, & the software to load on a computer to program the ignition module. You don't really need the coil or the plug wires but you will probably need the software to set up the ignition for your bike. So you will probably need the kit PN# ASM5012 and there maybe a different PN# now. PM jerr-06k9 for the PN# he got.

They don't sell just the module and software, I even called Thunder-Heart to try and buy it that way and they said complete kit only.

Oh well! Some day I may need that coil as well.

Sweet! I don't know why she told her that then, but she could have been misunderstanding...

I can see it now... Romex pulled through conduit, with a 110 electrical switch for the ignition cut off and a dimmer on the headlight switch.

Just let us know, we'll help you out, just post up what you THINK you need before you run to Home Depot to get it! :D

You might as well swap out the voltage regulator and stator as well. Get rid of all the BDM stuff!
