I went on a 150 mile round trip ride Sunday on my 05 Ridgeback. Towards the end of the ride while taking a high speed highway curve the rear end felt like the the tire was rolling sideways on the rim. I had just put Dyna-beads in the day before so I figured the tire may have lost some pressure. It felt like the tire was going flat, and I was not far from the house, so after stopping and kicking the tire, which felt very firm, I continued home. Yesterday after work I put the dog on a lift and checked everything in the rear end. Tire pressure was 42 pounds, which was what I put back in after the Dyna-bead application. There did not appear to be anything loose or out of whack. I took a short test ride and still felt something akin to a flat tire. Has anyone else experenced this? This is my first bike with a wide 300 mm tire, so I suppose it could be my imagination, but I really don't think so. I do know that it's a sick feeling when you're taking a curve at about 75 mph and the rear end feels loose.
