Cutter... you 100% right on all points. Natron said he was unsure about my exhaust till he saw it... then he was a believer and told me about his uncertaintity that was now gone.

Cutter... you want to come down for the Phoenix starting party? I'm thinking maybe Sat Mar 15th. Of coarse this goes for anybody else... I know Dave is in. I mentioned it to House and hopefully Al will come too!

Was able to button up the primary today.

Got the shim installed

Loctited the shit out of the nut and hit with the impact about 8 times as much as I could get.

Had the locking plate kit to install.

Replaced these 2" bolts with 1.5" bolts cause the 2" 'ers were too long

Removed the stock bolts, slid the locking plate and spacers into place. Then red loctited the 1.5" bolts and installed.

Slid the belt into place and checked for belt tension

Installed the center gaurd to the standoffs

Then the pulley covers

There she be boys

Another one knocked off the list

Slicker than snot GM! If the Pheonix rides half as good as it looks I don't expect to see many of your posts come riding weather, nice job

Well got about an hour or so in the garage today... it was nice... had the garage door open (about 45 out today) with my small heater next to me... it was good.

After so many busted my chops on no soldier on my coil and key wires... TX hooked me up with some low temp, heat once, preset, with shrink wrap connectors. Pretty slick I must say... so I re-did it all. Hopefully this will stop me from having to F with it when riding.

The connectors

The coil jumper wire

The coil hot wire

The ignition wires

Then I added in the maxi fuse for the back up to the circuit breaker.

Dropped in the battery and buttoned up under the seat

Put the seat on... matches with the fender and sissy bar OH SO WELL

Another day out the door...
