What???? I thought you rode everywhereWhen you do come up this way, stop by Dave's and pick up my chairs. The first thing the wife said when she opened the door to the trailer was, "Where's the chairs"

however you know what your problem is,
all you need to do is fix it like I did.

So I put my finger on the rear release like you said and while pushing the starter button 3-4 times until it made contact, it turns over and I feel the release go down. It doesn't come right back up, it whirls over for a few secs/revolutions before it comes back up which is normal? (I didn't choke it or give it gas so it would just turn over) The front does the same thing. I would have taken the hand control apart and checked the button by now but I thought I read on here that its a nightmare. Might go ahead and change the comp releases for a piece of mind they been in for many years. Is it a hard job?Are ya sure your compression releases are working? When you try to start it put your finger on the rear one and you will feel it pull down, however if it pops back up with your finger still on it, push it back down while you still have your finger on the start button.
My rear compression release was popping back up when the pressure came up in the rear cylinder and the starter would hesitate/grunt until it finally turned over. I replaced both CR and problem gone.
