I know somebody has posted this problem before, my 06 K9 now is getting harder to find the sweet spot when trying to crank. Keep having to push the run and starter button over and over til it turns over. Buttons starter or what? Thanks in advance

Are ya sure your compression releases are working? When you try to start it put your finger on the rear one and you will feel it pull down, however if it pops back up with your finger still on it, push it back down while you still have your finger on the start button.
My rear compression release was popping back up when the pressure came up in the rear cylinder and the starter would hesitate/grunt until it finally turned over. I replaced both CR and problem gone.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this but it could just be your right hand circuit board, mine did the same thing, remove the circuit board and make a jumper wire and see if it fires up by jumping the two wires in the jst connector, that will tell ya if it's bad or not.

When you do come up this way, stop by Dave's and pick up my chairs. The first thing the wife said when she opened the door to the trailer was, "Where's the chairs"

I replaced my burned up ehc with a DOC's system and still had a problem with started slam and hard starting. I replaced my battery and it cured everything. And my battery tested good.
Make sure you are not making the mistake I was making when I first bought the K9, don't give it any throttle when trying to start, that will fuck you up too.
