Super G Carb Issues

Bike had sat up for a couple of months, went to start it, turn over but will not start. Put in new battery, drained fuel tank & put in fresh fuel. Pulled plugs they looked fine. Pull the breather cover & determined there is no fuel coming from the vertical brass tube. Accelerator pump screw turned out 2 turns from seat. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you need to remove the carb and give it a good cleaning with an aerosol can of cleaner.

The gas dried up and became sticky varnish. You should always keep the bike running and turn the petcock off and let it run out of gas before storing it. Now just take the carb off, take it apart and put it in a coffee can full of good carb cleaner for about 24 hrs. then blow it out, put it back together and it should be fine.

Never gave an update on this either

The accelerator pump tube that runs from the bowl to the throat of the carb broke completely off where it seats into the bowl. Bought a new carb & been running ever since. I keep fresh fuel in it & crank it every 3-4 days whether I ride it or not.
