Soooo.... update!
Finally got a day over 40 degrees (41 actually)...
Took bike out with side shields on the duals.... NO CHANGE!!!! Still stutters n falls on face around 2700-2800 rpm..... PISSED OFF!!!!!!!!!! Doesnt do it with the stock/desperado aircleaner on just the duals!
Yes the vent bowl plug is removed!

Surging, falling on it's face can be caused from..
-Lean condition (intake seals, plug on carb nipples bad)
-Bad ignition
-Ignition switch

-To check for intake leak, start bike up, let run to operating temp, at idle spray(from intake side) both front and rear intake seals with brake/parts cleaner...if idle changes at all, you most likely have an intake seal leak.

Ya i understand woodbutcher... agreed, but it should fail (ignition) regardless of the intake. I only get the stutter with the duals, so i would assume the ignition would be ok. I could be wrong tho...

It looks like the problem is only at the transition (Inter to Main) point, right?

Go up on the Air Bleed jet, I am using a .48

EDIT: I just re-read the whole thread... I see you have already changed the Air Bleed........ sorry.

I would think a leaking intake would shutter no matter what air cleaner? But the shutter goes away with a change of air cleaner DESIGN = The art of air flow is not happening to this dual daully does shutter, right?

So like I said, I am reading the abstract. And so as not to single out any one abstract, didn't NOLTT mention someone will keep telling you to keep jetting..... OOPS! I see you did = Edit.

Took it for a quick scoot today.... seemed better but didnt get chance to open it up. Got a little lag on hard acceleration , but prob just accel pump adj...
Will try again in a week when i get back from work

im running v&h big radius 2/2
If it was short pipes i would have thought it would have did it regardless of intake?

ok... so took for scoot.....
after numerous combos it seems to be better with this:
airbleed 68/int 36/main 74
i am getting a 1000 rpm drop when i snap throttle at speed tho so i am guessing accel pump..... try that to get that sorted out today....
