That's why I stated " ya should of bought one" . Then ya wouldn't have the recall

ray, i'm with you was at the dealer yesterday for some warranty work and they had just gotten word of the recall. had to order "kits" for both shane and i, and get approval. kit contains (4) bolts.

Seat, the struts are the two arms that hold on the fender! :flag:
The shocks are bolted to the frame and swingarm.

:roll: :roll: Yeah, that's a GREAT way to put it, woodbutcher - Mrs. P8RIOT opened and read the recall letter last night, and asked what it meant. I didn't dare tell her it was the part keeping her little butt on the bike.

Received letter (with my VIN - '07 K9) - I'm a "Real Person" - I EXIST!!
Scanned in the letter, fired off email to the dealer (American Dream Machines, Evans, Georgia). They're all over it, kits were on order already, and they'll do mine next time next time the bike is in the shop.
Good enough in my book. Mo Better'n company claiming they never heard of any problems, which happens often enough on the Hog side of the garage, e.g. 110" CVO rear cylinder oil leak...
