I have never noticed those before but ordered mine and looking forward to getting it?

Can you report back if it fits?

I thought that our 04's were 1.8 KW Starters so part # would be SPSB18

# SPSB24 is for 2.0 which were used on the 05's and newer.

Unfortunately it is the wrong button it is not a spsb24 . I cut the templates out and held them up to the solonoid it is the spsb14. that the correct template , I wrote and asked to cancel the order and waiting to hear back from him,motoman?

Contact Strokers or any one of the parts dealers and they should be able to look it up. AKA Slam Button. and Yeah still hit off run button then the slam button. My run start button was messed up is the reason I bought mine

Is that for just the right side?Back when I got mine the dealer in my area would only sell in a pair for 150 bucks.Thats when I sgopped and found one for 59 bucks...

Thanks Marc, yes I did ask for a pic (Ive seen it in the webpage) but I would like to see it mounted... where do you mount it exactly?

I agree that is f`n nuts , not only expensive but a pain in the ass . I just bought my bike a few months ago and Im already thinking about going with a wire plus harness if I have anymore problems but wouldnt I need the hand controls or would I need to change those over as well as the harness?
