No payout until the court is done he says What I dont understand is why the police can call on the ad on the bike and get him if it is reported stolen?
They can but you need to call LA police and report it. You will need to provide the supporting documents that shows you are the legal owner though. If you are questioning any of this, you need to call and talk to someone. LA police dept or the insurance company. You will know if your friend is telling the truth after.

Well I cant provide it :) I have mail conversation in Swedish and bank whitdrawal and mail conversation whit Ivan who was the seller in Long Beach. But Thomas have all the papers. I asked him for the new pinkslip but he says he never registered the bike in his name because it was going to be exported. Does that seems right?

Seems like Thomas is yanking ur chain. Contact the courts and have them check the docket for that day. YOU can do a lot of this by simply calling. Just my opinion.

Or to simply get some piece of mind, send a few around to "chat" with Thomas.

Why did he sign the title then?

I am not sure how it works with exports but here in the USA the transfer of ownership is determined by the notarized signing of the Title by both the buyer and the seller and a proof of sale. From what the title you provided shows that Thomas bought the bike and not you. So if you have something in writing to explain that Thomas was to take "temporary ownership" and then transfer to you, that is what you need to provide to the police and insurance company. If you dont, then I am sorry but you are at your shady friends mercy.

Here's where I have a problem with this,Hemi wire transferred money to Tom(?),who than purchased the bike, (signed title and bill of sale on his name)so unless there is a written contract with Tom to purchase and send bike to Sweden with all papers(or however Swish works),Tom can just say he borrowed the $ from Hemi, now if the bike was stolen and no payout(which there should be no payout if they caught the perp, the bike would just prob. be held as evidence). If there was s payout, the insurance co ownes it.....No?
