I tried helmet speakers and the ear buds and find them all just another distraction I don't need. I'll just listen to the engine. just my .02

I was looking at custom choppers under motorcycle category(on ebay). I clicked on Parts and accessories and typed in "motorcycle audio system." There are several different ones with a wide price range.

I put a couple of 400 watt speakers and amp on my Husky but I found I had to go back to er earbuds cause I had cut the baffles off a little too much on the V&H Big Radius. I put the speakers and amp on my Harley Heritage and they worked fine. Trade offs in everything it seems. Yeah the Heritage does have a cup holder.

Haven't rode two up yet but if I wanna hear something while I'm riding other than my pipes I'd get a busty chick and have her talk dirty in my ear,
Might be better than listenin' to oldies and country.

not enough time 4 riding
I would be concerned about the security of a sound system fastened to the handlebars of a motorcycle. I have tried helmet speakers and did not like them and did not like earphones either, so the only time I have tunes while riding is when I ride the Street Glide.

Well, it's 2013. Any new ideas for tunes on the chopper?
You can try hitting a few rallies and see what the vendors have displayed. I always see cool shit there, that I havent found online. I've seen nice system setup on baggers, fairing bikes, or sportbikes hidden in the plastics. You're kinda limited to mounting something to the bars unless you really wanna shell out dough !
