Personally I think between. 038 and. 035 on a stock motor probably splitting hairs but John is the guy that will have the data and experience to back it upUpdate..I set my gap at .035...Runs great but about the same as when its set at .038...Should i stay at .035 or go back to 0.38 ? good advice, lots of shipping tends to beat and bang on little bendable things.I recently bought a pair of Champion RA8HC on Amazon which are supposed to be pre-gapped to .04. They were actually less than .025. Definitely check the gap before installing.
I have never ever installed plugs without setting/checking the gap even if they have the cardboard tubes on them.good advice, lots of shipping tends to beat and bang on little bendable things.
... and adding some never-seize to the threads...I have never ever installed plugs without setting/checking the gap even if they have the cardboard tubes on them.
