Sounds like ~ a wrist pin clip took off out the right side piston wrist pin hole ~ clip goes up and down for a few strokes ~ scores whatever to the piston, ring, and cylinder wall ~ she eventually is down in the crankcase somewhere ~ the wrist pin is now floating against the wall making or taking out two touch points is the wrist pin to wall ~ what the clip did at what miles it took off ~ here is either a long or short variable ~ is the pin's clip took out the rings and it is now smoking ~ the right turn knock is the wrist pin floating and then back again = Never start this bike ever again ~ Start tearing down!
And if that wrist pin put a groove in that cylinder wall where you can feel it? It says, you cannot create or destroy what is floating in that oil ~ is throughout the whole oiling system from bag to pump gears to crank bearing surfaces is ~ what a mess you hope you cannot finger a nick off that barrel or she is a time bomb you just change the top end, drain the oil, found the clip or most of it... You wanna sell that puppy? It's a part bike you do not wash every last part, nook, cranny and then some.
