Yes I was. Something came up and the wife asked If I could sell one bike, so I sold both and using the money to get a 2015 Road Glide for a trip I'm taking next year. Throwing the rest of the cash in the bank. She promised me once everything is done,I could get a K9. Lost my Mom in January without a will, and now we are paying 2 mortgages until all the court BS is done.

Well you gotta do what you gotta do. Sorry about your mom.

I heard the road glides are the best touring Harleys. Apparently with the fixed wind screen it cuts through the wind and you don't get the every now and then shakes like the street glides.

When the time is right you'll probably like the prices of the k9's

Sorry to hear about your mom, we went thru that about 4 years ago, never an easy time.

I'm running the same now...look great and sound awesome. I've been toying with the idea of a dual throat carb for awhile but can't seem to find anything specific for my 117. I did find an adapter (enclosed pic) but haven't called yet to see if it fits. What I'd like I'd something like the Dual-Throat (enclosed picture), with charter velocity Stacks. If I do that, I like the look of the pipes (enclosed picture). They would seem to compliment the side intake position of the velocity stacks.

I've been adding a few extras. Got a Thunder-Heart from Curtis...well worth it! Just installed new Rocker Box covers, got a great deal $340 for the whole kit. Also Steel Braided Plug Wires, Flame Style mirrors and Shift Rod. If I could locate the right deal carb setup I'd be real happy with the new look.

This is the S&S Stealth Air Cleaner correct? Could you give me the link to this or the correct part number? All I can find is for Harley and I want to make sure it will fit our bike (S&S 117 Super G)
Thank you!
IMO, out of the a/cleaners on this page #11, that S&S stealth A/Cleaner, that JWOOKY uses, flows more air than any a/cleaner shown . Plus they offer quite a few chrome trim pieces for them. I've tested them on the flow bench, and can say "THEY WORK".
