I'm in EULESS but every time I say that people go where lol....hey I would be up for that if you could find the timeWhere in Dallas are you? I thought you were out near Fort Worth, yes?
Anyways, for a basic fluid change I understand people who don't want to get your hands dirty or may just not have the time and that's OKAY. However, if its a non-urgent fluid change I don't mind walking you through it in person if we can get a day that works for both of us. I'll just take a couple Coors Lights in exchange for the supervision.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Eric, props to you!! ....that's what this is all about. I'm buying breakfast next time Blacktopper and I are in Dallas.
If you are interested in learning I'd be glad to help. Again I Understand 110% if your either not interested or don't have the time. Sometimes I wish I could trust other people so I'm not always the one to fix everything...anyways!I'm in EULESS but every time I say that people go where lol....hey I would be up for that if you could find the time

You are not too far. I'll let you know if I can this weekend I'm waiting on a delivery for new flooring and doors for the house and need to start it if it comes in.
In the meantime do you have a bike lift and a small mechanic set? Don't need much to do an oil change. Mostly just Allen wrenches.
When was the last time it was done do you need to change the transmission fluid? Its not a big deal just need to make sure you got the oil.
Probably cost you about $80-$100 for everything. Shop cost will probably be $300 I'd be bet with labor rates. So you'll save a few Benjamin's doing it yourself.
You need -
Funnel and oil pan
4 Quarts Mobil-1 20w50
1 Quart BDM TrickShift (ATF Fluid)
I have the oil and wrong filter have to change it out. No lift but have Allens last change about 3000 ago, didnt even think of tranny fluid.
1 K&N 170c Oil Filter
1 QT 75w-140 Gear Oil. (Baker recommends Spectro) can use BelRay or Redline ShockProof
