Well I look at it this way. Japan pretty much owns us now. They have bought up quite a few landmarks here. And if I'm not wrong we owe them trillion of dollars. So I try to look to look at things made here to support here. Sometime it's not possible. But I most always do not buy from Japan. No use giving them more then they already have.

Update: After 100+ days in the shop, I finally got my lady back and did some riding. The Shinko tires are great. The stick well around the corners and have a nice ride feel to them. As for mileage, well that waits to be seen.

I have Shinko on front of the dog now, and both ends of the HD. They are way better than the avons, traction and wear. I like to buy American if all possible, but when you get a better product for less, what do you do. Fixin to get 240 wide for rear! Really like the shinkos!!
